Adrian and his mistress were enjoying an intimate evening when his wife unexpectedly returned home early, turning everything upside down. A simple pizza box contained a clue that exposed Adrian’s betrayal and changed his life forever.

The city lights shimmered outside their apartment window as Adrian watched Claire pack her suitcase.
—“Another business trip?”—Adrian sighed.
—“Meetings, deadlines, travel… it’s all part of the job,”—Claire explained, zipping up her suitcase.
—“But do you really have to go? You’re the head of your own fashion empire,”—Adrian pleaded.
—“I promise I won’t be gone long. I’ll miss you too.”
Claire grabbed her things, kissed him, and left.
The Betrayal Begins
After checking in at the airport, Claire sighed when she saw Adrian hadn’t messaged her. She had planned to tell him she was finally pregnant, but an urgent work call ruined her plans.
Meanwhile, back at home, Adrian muttered,
—“Finally, she’s gone!”
Without hesitation, he called his mistress.
—“I’ll bring roses on my way. I know they turn you on,”—Vanessa teased.
—“Come quickly, I can’t wait!”—Adrian responded eagerly.
When Vanessa arrived, they shared a passionate kiss.
—“You love my kisses and my perfume, don’t you?”—she joked, spraying herself with Claire’s perfume.
They were just about to head to the bedroom when the doorbell rang.
—“Who could that be?”—Vanessa sighed.
Adrian opened the door, expecting the pizza delivery, but instead, he found Claire.
—“Hi, honey!”
—“Claire? You’re back? I thought you’d be in Hong Kong by now!”—Adrian stammered.
—“My flight got canceled. I have to wait three days for the next one.”
—“Why didn’t you call? I could’ve picked you up.”
—“I stopped by the bookstore on my way home and my phone battery died. I couldn’t call… but I’m home now.”
A Close Call
Before Claire could notice anything, Adrian quickly snatched Vanessa’s lingerie off the lamp and shoved it into his pocket. He then rushed to hug his wife, hoping to distract her before she entered the bedroom.
—“Claire, I missed you so much!”
She frowned.
—“You’re acting weird, Addy… it’s only been three hours.”
—“Three hours without you felt like an eternity!”
—“I understand…”—Claire pressed his shoulders and looked into his eyes—“I was expecting your messages, but you didn’t send any.”
—“I left my phone charging and forgot about it,”—Adrian lied.
—“Now that I’m home, let’s plan dinner. But first, I need to use the bathroom.”—Claire tilted her head suspiciously.
Then, she heard a noise coming from the bedroom.
—“Who’s there?”
—“No one! It must be the windows… I left them open,”—Adrian stammered.
Ignoring him, Claire walked toward the bedroom.
—“Claire, baby, stop… there’s no one. Don’t you trust me?”—Adrian pleaded.
She barged in, but the room appeared empty.
—“I swear I heard something, like someone coughing…”
—“What? No, it’s just the windows,”—Adrian insisted.
—“I feel like we’re growing apart,”—Claire confessed.
Adrian took her hands.
—“I love you more than you know. There’s nothing to worry about. Why don’t you take a shower and relax?”
Claire nodded, and as soon as she shut the bathroom door, Adrian sighed in relief. He immediately pulled Vanessa out from under the bed.
—“Leave before she comes out!”—he whispered.
While Claire showered, Adrian helped Vanessa sneak out. Just as she reached the door, they ran into the pizza delivery guy.
—“Your pizza, sir! Sorry for the delay,”—the delivery man announced loudly.
—“I don’t want that pizza!”—Adrian hissed, nervous that Vanessa was still there.
—“Sir, if you don’t want it, you’ll have to call the restaurant to cancel.”
Adrian quickly paid him, trying to get rid of him.
Then, Claire’s voice echoed from behind.
—“Did you order food?”
—“Yes, honey. I was hungry and thought we could have something together.”
Adrian shot the delivery man a deadly glare and slammed the door.
—“I love you, Claire, so I love everything you love.”
Claire started growing suspicious. Adrian never ordered pizza. She took a bite but immediately ran to the sink to spit it out.
—“God, this is spicy! Did you order extra-spicy pizza?”
—“I thought we could try something new…”—Adrian lied.
Claire narrowed her eyes.
—“I’ve never seen you eat spicy food. And now you’re eating double-tabasco pizza? Do you really like it?”
Adrian swallowed hard.
—“Tastes change…”
The Clue That Changed Everything
The next day, Claire went out to lunch with her friend Vanessa—unaware that she was Adrian’s mistress.
As they chatted, Vanessa ordered a pizza, half regular and half extra spicy with tabasco.
—“I love extra-spicy tabasco pizza!”—Vanessa laughed.
Claire froze.
Her mind started piecing things together:
Adrian’s strange behavior.
The messy bedroom.
The tabasco pizza.
And now… Vanessa ordering the exact same pizza.
Claire excused herself and left the restaurant. She tried calling Adrian—his phone was busy. She called Vanessa—also busy.
Her heart sank.
The child growing inside her belonged to Adrian, and yet he was betraying her.
A Plan to Uncover the Truth
Claire tracked down the pizza delivery guy and showed him a photo of Vanessa.
—“Was this the woman you saw with my husband?”
—“Yes, that’s her,”—the delivery guy confirmed.
Later that evening, while Adrian and Vanessa were together, the doorbell rang.
Adrian answered it, irritated to see the delivery guy again.
—“You again? Why is this box so light?”
He opened it… and inside were divorce papers.
—“DIVORCE PAPERS? IS THIS A JOKE?”
—“Maybe you should check the signature, Adrian.”
Claire removed her delivery helmet and revealed herself.
—“SURPRISE!”—she grinned, while Adrian and Vanessa stood in shock.
—“Claire, you’re crazy! So what if I cheated? No one will believe you! You have no proof!”
Claire pointed to a hidden camera strapped to her dress.
—“Everything is recorded, Adrian.”
The End of a Marriage
Adrian begged for another chance, but Claire refused.
—“You two deserve each other. You have one hour to pack your things and get out of my house… and my life.”
Claire tossed her wedding ring on the floor and stormed out, shooting Adrian a cold glare.
Her heart ached at the thought that her child would grow up without a father, but having no father was better than having a disloyal one.
Months after the divorce, Claire was on a Hawaiian beach, watching the golden-pink sunset, embracing her newfound peace and freedom.
Adrian eventually found out she was pregnant.
But he never reached out to be part of the baby’s life.
Why would he?
He was nothing but a greedy, cheating man.
